If it's offered, take it as an online class. That way you can do what you do here: Not have to deal with f*ckwits in person. Better for their health that way...
The cake is NOT a lie. It's so delicious and moist.

The Weighted Companion Cube is cheating on you, that slut.

Wow, if there's an 800 dollar solution, that's not much at all.

        No kidding.

He burned almost that much money of my billable time arguing with me about it.

having done small scale project management - it is crucial that i had an idea about software, programming and stuff.

i still prefer to be a project manager than a programmer, but i've started a software engineering B.Sc. to base my way firmly to be a techy first, project manager later.

if time allows i'll take up economics and industry engineering classes.

We have a 5-man PMO now for our company, 4 of them started off as software engineers and moved into the position, the other is this new guy who comes from a business/management background with an MBA. They got him for another perspective on management, but it isn't working so far. So bad.

That plus his own. I don't get that.

My boss is good. Leaves me alone to work for the most part.

Being in Cincinnati, everyone I go to school with seems to work for GE or P&G. Since GE is sucking it you don't hear much from them. However, every time anything comes up it appears that P&G folk think what their company did it right.

Right now I plan on becoming CEO of Unilever and destroying P&G. Freaking drones.

PMs don't bill time usually, unless they're doing something technical.

Oh well. The store should be up soon if the tech guys ever get around to putting it up.

The biggest WTF is that this place of yours refuses to use open source, but is okay with using freeware software.

It is not my place that refuses it, it is the client which is the a governmental organization in the USA. It's surprisingly common. The commies write open source, remember.
