Note that this might be a trait of Anglo-Saxon intellectual inferiority. The philosophy department at the UdM hired a few years back a moral philosophy specialist from Vancouver. And guess what? The Introduction to Ethics class became a bull**** discussion seminar about abortion, risking your life to save a drowning child, or the moral justification for preemptive wars. I'm glad I had already taken the course with a decent professor.

Of course, this kind of discussion might become unwantedly necessary, when your inferior political class forces you through practice to address those issues.

Boring vs. not boring depends much more on the professor than on the subject itself.

Anything can be either boring or excellent, depending on that.

My Algebra professor totally rocks. So does the guest professor for digital systems.

The professor for high math (differential and integral mathematics) is annoying and hard to follow track. Sadly this exact version of the course is still lacking a good video.

I'm also taking a humanities course, in history of propaganda and public relations. It's nice and the professor is a young historian, but generally I think I know more about propaganda theory than he does.
