But seriously, you feel 1 bottle (10 oz) of 5% alcohol makes a grown person reasonably larger than a midget impaired?
May I ask, do you drive?
If you do, do you ever use cold medication within an hour or two of operating a motor vehicle?(\__/)

I only drink beer on tap, so don't blame me for not knowing.
Those, by the way, should be 16 oz (a true American pint)

Most American bars serve 14 oz in the 16 oz glasses. They don't fill it to the brim. But even more perniciously, many bars have begun to use "cheater" pint glasses that are only 14 oz, so in reality the customer is getting 12 oz of beer.Originally posted by KrazyHorse

One bar near where I live has made a big point of throwing out all their cheater pint glasses and selling true 16 oz pint beers (slopping over the sides and all).Tutto nel mondo è burla

God love the Brits. They have a line on the glasses. And woe to the barkeep who cheats.12-17-10 Mohamed Bouazizi NEVER FORGET

Many people do drink and drive. As a matter of fact, one fella drove home (about 30km) today after about 8 beers. We all tried to stop him from doing it, but to no avail.Originally posted by Asher
The drinking age in the Ideal Province of Alberta is 18.
I drank at 18. I've never, ever, driven drunk. Not even a little bit. Some people call me overly paranoid, but even after 1 beer I don't drive. I don't handle the liquor as well as most people, I'm a lightweight like that.
We also didn't have graduated licensing back then...when you turned 16 you were free as a bird.
I'm all for zero tolerance. From experience I realise that driving while drinking the slightest bit makes me more (over)confident etc. And letting teenagers drive when they're 16 is insane imo. But okay roads in North-America are bigger, and everyone has auomatic transmission, but still. I'd never allow my 16 year old son/daughter drive in the narrow Belgian roads."An archaeologist is the best husband a women can have; the older she gets, the more interested he is in her." - Agatha Christie
