But thank you to our veterans in the Commonwealth.
It's not a statutory holiday in Manitoba either, but that's okay by me, giving up a days pay is a small price to pay in my eyes, given the ultimate price that so many paid on our behalf.
To all veterans, of today and of todays gone by I am thankful for your sacrifices.
