      They're not great for internet dorks grabbing drinks . Would you be open to a rerun at Fox and Hounds or the 17th Gayborhood again? Much more friendly for conversations. Would be a good exercise for Mr. Fun to try to navigate via metro and foot.

        If it is the weekend of October 18, November 1, or some later time in November/December I might be able to make it. I am actually right now thinking of skipping October 18, and only going up the weekend of November 1.

            Damn. Somehow I missed this thread. I'm booked for dinner Saturday night, but would probably be free 10-ish. If you guys think you'll go that late, I'll try to swing by.

                  I remember watching that on TV as a youthful teen. Particularly the man who passed the helicopter line to 5 other people before he succumbed to the icy waters and drowned. Still intense after 25 years.

                    Let's get this thing decided. 8 PM at Fox and Hounds on 17th Street? If it's warm enough, we'll be outside. Is everybody 21+ or do we have minors?

                      That's literally around the corner from my apartment, but my Saturday plans are evolving and may run later than 10. I'll just swing by at the end of the evening regardless; it's not like it's out of the way.

                              Fox & Houds sounds good to me. I just got Internet access again at a public library in Silver Spring.

                              I won't have Internet at my apartment until Oct. 18. I can send my cell phone number to DanS or Timexwatch in case anything changes.
