It's "Live Free or Die," actually. But since Henry was from Virginia and made the speech in the House of Burgesses in VA, I don't know if there's a real connection...
I'M SORRY I FORGOT TO SAY LIVE!!! Hey, which of us was actually BORN THERE?! But I changed the historical record...
Boris: There is a connection. Henry's speech is loved by New Hampshirites. Just because a Virginian said it doesn't mean it isn't something another state can embrace.
Really, it comes from an original American flag. But New Hampshire adopted the ideals more than any other original state.
Its great, really, because there's a NH Wal-Mart only 15 minutes away. Low low prices, AND no taxes!

I just think it's sad that nobody from New Hampshire has ever done anything of note or said anything worth making a state motto.

David Souter is one of the best SCOTUS guys ever. Mary Baker Eddy founded a ****ing religion (even though the HQ is a beautiful area in Boston). Josiah Barlett is a Founding Father and American Hero. Ken Burns added so much to knowledge of history, like "Civil War". Franklin Pierce was a President. Steven Tyler ROCKS! "Two Road Diverge" in NH, according to Robert Frost. Seth Meyers and Sarah Silverman are ****ing hilarious. And Carlton Fisk

Getting back to the debate, my favorite moment of the night:
Vice President Cheney has been the most dangerous vice president we've had probably in American history. The idea he doesn't realize that Article I of the Constitution defines the role of the vice president of the United States, that's the Executive Branch. He works in the Executive Branch. He should understand that. Everyone should understand that.
And the primary role of the vice president of the United States of America is to support the president of the United States of America, give that president his or her best judgment when sought, and as vice president, to preside over the Senate, only in a time when in fact there's a tie vote. The Constitution is explicit.
The only authority the vice president has from the legislative standpoint is the vote, only when there is a tie vote. He has no authority relative to the Congress. The idea he's part of the Legislative Branch is a bizarre notion invented by Cheney to aggrandize the power of a unitary executive and look where it has gotten us. It has been very dangerous.

I don't get people citing her inexperience as an excuse for her complete lack of understanding of the issues. I could probably give better answers to foreign policy and economic questions and I have no government experience

The sad part of that sound bite is that the article he cited doesn't deal with the Executive Branch.

No, but you could **** and fall back in it though.

So you don't contest that Cheney was the most dangerous VP ever.
