Probably. Did a bit of the reading on the Mensa site, and minimum age for membership is 16 for that reason. Also 177 seems really unlikely. It is possible they gave you a test with a higher standard deviation of eg 24. Those exist apparently. Then transferred to standard deviation 15, your score would be more like 145. Or even more likely a test that just gave you a ratio, not a number based on standard deviations.

Well I just sat the website test, and my final score was 118.

Which may go to show that I was smarter as a 12 year old than I am as a 28 year old

Nah, you have just changed your way of using your head
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

Then again, this test only seems to test for spatial/visual skills, which men are better at, while other IQ tests also test for verbal intelligence, which women are better at.

I found that choosing the one that felt right (rather than working it out which I can't be bothered to do) yields a reasonable 122.

Am I supposed to go cross-eyed and lose focus while doing the test?

I think I need to get more sleep.

Not that I necessarily believe the final score is accurate, but, I wonder how many of the complainers had a bad score.

Actually wouldn't that make a great psychology test?

                1) Give a bunch of self-professed intelligent people an IQ test

                2) Tell them they did below average.

                3) Watch the reaction.

Did ok, but the test confirmed that spatial is not my strong point. Scored on the low-end of high.

I'm not going to bother taking the test, thus proving that my intelligence is ridiculously phenomenal.
