I'm crazy, you're crazy, we're all crazy.
Just be glad I don't call you crazy stupid. That's another category.

In 1984 and 1988, first Ronald Reagan and then George H.W. Bush won first-time voters and under-29 voters by big margins: 20 points in 1984. The twentysomethings of the 1980s remain the most Republican cohort in the electorate to this day.
Thanks for the history lesson. It was ****ing useless.

You forget that baby boomers are incredibly liberal (they were in their late teens and early 20's during the late '60's). Latter generations have become more conservative possibly as a response to our parents. Obama seems to be turning the tide on this, however, as he has a lot of appeal among young voters.
Former governor of Massachusetts, son of the former governor of Michigan. He was the CEO of a management consulting firm and the co-founder of Bain Capital ($78 Billion in assets), a private equity firm. Also organized the 2002 Winter Olympics. The Romney family is a large and politically successful family. They are also Mormons.
He is politically a moderate Republican. He is (or was before his presidential campaign) pro-choice and had a history of raising taxes.
Funny, I'd read a depressing article showing the exact opposite with actual statistics to prove it:
I fail to see how the study falls like a house of cards when that 80% figure wasn't even included in it. That was an unsupported assumption in DanS' completely unrelated post quoted & linked above, and in fact the study's explicit purpose was to test the validity of that assumption. Please retake reading comp and try again.
You quoted two things, the first your apparently calling an 'unrelated article' and the second the 'study'. It was the first quotes CONCLUSION that I was referring to as a house of cards as it mis-applies the statistic it uses. Perhapses I gave it too much credit by using the word 'study' but it should be clear my reference was to the first quotation as that is what I quoted from.
I actually find the 80% figure quite believable and the second 'study' convincing. My problem is that the conclusion of a "birth gap" (first quotation) dose not necessarily follow from the knowledge that A - Conservatives have more children, B - 80% of people retain their parents Ideology/ Party affiliation and I've already explained why.
Please work on your own reading comprehension.
Companions the creator seeks, not corpses, not herds and believers. Fellow creators, the creator seeks - those who write new values on new tablets. Companions the creator seeks, and fellow harvesters; for everything about him is ripe for the harvest. - Thus spoke Zarathustra, Fredrick Nietzsche
Yes, you are. It's why you double posted this for effect.

Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...
That's not how it came across to me. Seemed like she was making a point about the limited role/power of VP, etc. She was basically giving a non-answer answer.
