But even so, if certain parts of the Ukraine are heavily Russianized, it doesn't mean we will rush to annex them just because we got tired of a certain country's verbal attacks and used their military blunder to liberate them from their own army.

However, I'm afraid of Lithuania using its NATO membership to provoke us into attacking them by insulting our country and our people in the speeches of their leaders, counter our attack and reannex the territories that comprised Greater Lithuania. Yes, your paranoia makes as much sense as this one ^^^

Oh my, you guys are really paranoid. This world went crazy.
Sh!t I can't believe you guys are brainwashed by your media to the point where you seriously believe Russia is going to annex the former Soviet republics.

That is so weird and scary. That means your free and unbiased brainwashing machine did a very good job.

It looks like it is so.
      Then... the end is near.

          Peace > war

          Friends > enemies

          Pragmatic neutral partners > enemies

Serb, serious question (I'm probably gonna regret this...):

What would you say would be the five major initiatives/policy shifts/ other official actions by each

          Ą. The "west" and
          B. Russia

to improve our relations to something approaching normality.

Sure, you don't give a **** that majority of Ukranians DO NOT WANT to be in NATO, right?

Then they should stop democratically electing leaders who do.

Ok. I'll give you my serious answer to your question.

                    1) The West should understand that the cold war is over.
                    2) The West should stop portraying Russia as an enemy.
                    3) The West should stop acting like Russia is an enemy.
                    4) The West should talk to Russia like an equal partner, not a "defeated" enemy. (We are not Japan or Germany of 1945. God damn it. You never beat us military, we liberated ourselves and the West should bear that in mind).
                    5) The West should stop to intervene in our internal affairs, stop lecturing us.

You call an Orange farse a democratic elections?

Anyhow. Imho, the opinion of the PEOPLE is >>> than the opinion of (ok let's pretend that Youshenko was democratically elected) the leader of that people.
Some issues need referendum. And referendum is always > than orders of the head of state.

Oh shut up, Serb. It's become quite clear during all of this that you wouldn't know what the truth was if it came up behind you and proceded to beat the crap out of you.

When was the last time you been to Ukraine?

I spent there last summer. If your Youshenko pupet will press Ukraine to NATO, one thing I can tell you for sure - Crimea will defect from Ukraine or Ukraine will face a civil war.
