Ok, tell us Serb how can anyone take your claims that Georgia is the agressor seriusly?

Dude Russia is a great power while Georgia is a weak eastern European country. Can you explain what in the world they would have been thinking when they decided "ah hell lets just start a war against a major nuclear power for a bit of fun!"

You are really blind in your hatred towards Russia. Really blind.
The ceasefire treaty was violated by separatists - who were supposed to be silenced by YOUR peace keepers.

The 2000 killed is a figure pulled out of some Lubyanka disinfo deparment Lieutenants arse and not backed up by anything.

Like I said, a long long way to go, we are babies with a crazy idea, that won't work for a long time to come, a lot like Democracy's history.

Perhaps 500 years, optimistically, 200 years. The world would have to be majorly unified, not just geographically, but culturally, intellectually and lots of other "lly's" as well.

                      2) Tell me, do you believe or not that Georgian army started the major offence and bombarded the South Osetian capital with heavy artillery and Grads, nearly a day before a first Russian tank entered the South Osetia?
                      3) Doesn't it make Georgia an agressor?
                      4) Do you realize that Russian forces are trying to repel invided Georgians from the South Osetia (the place where Georgian soldiers shouldn't be according to the cease-fire treaty Georgians signed in 1992), not to conquer Georgia?

Yes, but tell me how may times in history has the power that has been completley outmatched by a factor of a douzen to one been the agressor?

In any case its always best to side with the weaker side. I mean it saves you a lot of thinking. That's how I decided that I support Macedonians against teh Greek Agressors (tm).

Unfortunately, the world will doubtfully reach those stages, even in your optimistic timeline, but there can be a unified economic system, like the Common Market, but much more sophisticated. Globalization is taking us there, as it is, but maybe it is possible to make it feasible, with a socialist mindset. The rest will come at a higher stage of development.

What would the USSR have been like had there been glasnost, but no perestroika(juxtaposed to today's China) with today's computer and nanotechnology?
I reckon the Chinese are more secure in themselves than Russia, so they can aggressively import Western technology and ideas without feeling bad. For the Soviet Union to 'do a China' it would have to accept that it was behind the West technologically.
