    Long live the Latvian Riflemen!
Imperialism is old-style thinking, it doesn't help peace, it's just a means of showing how big your balls are; which is childish and foolish.

Away with imperialism, we learned our lessons, discard what makes us challenge our own kind, and instead challenge the more difficult, such as understanding nature itself, which now requires international effort.

Y'know, when I was 10, I had a great idea about how the world should run, I told my father my idea, he laughed at me and said "That's Communism!", I was angry my idea had already been thought of, tried, tested and failed.

As time passed, I read up more about Communism and saw how the world works, and I realised that Communism isn't actually a bad idea, it's just that the world is not ready for it yet, and above all, the technology isn't there.

The reason Democracy and Republic works is because of competition, nature relishes on it; it will not be until the likes of Star Trek where competition will become redundant, and only then will Communism make sense, but it would probably not be something we revolt to, it will just come naturally, you can already see it happening in our societies now.

By the way, where is Medvedev? I only hear the lord god Putin speaking out on this, like the good old times when he was president. So it is as everyone expected then: Putin continues his tsardom as prime minister?

Looks like it. There were some rumours flying around that M wasn't as keen on fighting this out the way they do it now as HappyP, but of course it's hard to say if there's anything to it.

There's a better, more formulaic and detailed way to explain this, but here's condensed version, a hypothetical scenario..

What would the USSR have been like had there been glasnost, but no perestroika(juxtaposed to today's China) with today's computer and nanotechnology?

It's clear that with more progressive technology all other problems a society could have will simply disappear!

                        Any mods here?
Saras has threadjacked my thread and illegally changed its name into provoking insult that contradicts with reality. The name of this thread is a slander upon my country. I find it very insulting.

Can anyone return the thread's orginal name ("It's war"(c).???

WTF? Threadjacked? I saw the thread reaching 500 and opened a new one, to continue. And what maya look like slander to you looks like an apt description of events to anyone with any clue.

I don't think there would have been a lot of difference, you have to remember that generations take a while to weed out before new ideas can take effect.

As for todays technology, we are still at the birth stage for what will be humans giant leap of technology, we are no where near the pre-matrix world of robots doing everything for us.

So in your Sarasverse a "lackey" is a grave insult, while "**** off Commie" is just a troll?

Level of development dictates the majority of problems a society may have and technology is a factor in development, communication, and information.
