I don't entirely agree with that, I believe Saakashvili intends to get Russia into trouble with the rest of the world.

But at the same time I have a hard time believing Russia would do anything as stupid as that, unless of course it thinks it can get away with it, which it probably can, since 1. Europe is too scared to do anything about it, and 2. America is tied up at the moment.

Like a previous poster said, all the West can do, is give Putin a call, tell him he shouldn't do that, and hang up.

What Saras did just a little dirty trick in his disinformation lying crusade vs. Russia. The simple check of sequence of events shows that it is Georgia who started this mess by destroying the South Ossetian capital. He blames Russia for defending Ossetians from Georgian agressors. Hypocrite.
