For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio

Why? They are such an easy targets.
If you think that it will be your first casualties in this war you are mistaken. There are some "dark skined" soldiers among dead bodies wearing Georgian uniform found at the South Osetian capital. If they are not mercenaries (which is very unlikely), then they are American instructors who trained Georgian army for years. So your own body count in South Osetia is well above zero now.
Thank your loyal lackey for that. And you imperialist leadership too.

Who cares? You can think whatever you wish, but I know that I never in my life voted for Putin or Medvedev.

Sure. We'll do our best to destroy as much of Saakashvilii's military capabilities as possible. Basically he is a toast now. He clearly crossed the line by killing our peacekeepers.
But I'm not sure we'll cross the border. And surelly we will NEVER do to Tbilisy what they have done to Tskhinvaly. We have no goal to erase Georgian people from the face of Earth.

I jump to defende the right side. And in this conflict I defend my country, regardless of who is in charge, 'cause our actions were fully justified and were the only possible actions to stop the genocide started by your lackey.

                        • Without Serb, this wouldn't be half the discussion it is.

I'll say this, Serb has a point. It does appear that the Geogians did hit the breakaway province very hard incurring alot of civilian casualties in the process. If so, that's a terrible thing to do and it gives credence to Serb's genoside claims. Can we all agree on that or is there some evidence to the contrary I haven't seen?

This sent shivers down my back...

Do you need the same pictures of Baghdad, Basrah or Belgrade? Did you let civilians quit the Basrah or Baghdad before storming it? Did your loyal lackey let civilans quit Tskhinavly before bambarding it with heavy artillery and MRLSes?
                            NO.
Russians blockaded Grozny and gave more then enough time to let non-combantants quit the city. That's difference.

Same reason there's Russian "peacekeepers" in Transdnistria.

I wonder what we offered the US for Georgia. It seems the proud mountain country is gonna take it in the ass for the next couple of months or even years.
Probably nothing. As I've said the timing is terrible for US intervention.

The US would never get involved directly in any conflict with Russia unless Russia directly attacked a NATO ally or US troops. The risks for the US are simply too damn big. If anyone gave Georgia any other ideas, then they misled the government in Tblisi.
