Why does every criticism of Barack Obama have to be labeled a smear. It's almost like a reflex with some of you guys.

Take a look at the inflation rates of Zimbabwe, then think about how Barack Obama's propoposal is likely to affect prices, and it may dawn on you that the aim of the OP might have been to draw a somewhat satirical, exaggerated parallel between what is basically two variants of the same Socialist approach.

I'm guessing, but this explanation seems far more plausible to me than your fairly nasty smear..

I rest my case with your "witty" retort.

It's kind of hard not to take it as a smear. Do you think comparing Bush to the devil is only criticism?

Well, this "garbage" as you put it, plays out in my professional as well as personal life.

I have 46 people who work for me, over 35 pieces of equipment "road ready" whic costs me substantially more to operate and shrinks an already narrow R.O.I.

We dont get more for our product, we do however pay more all around and that has to come from somewhere

Now, I have only been managing trucking for near 20 years, not sure where your "garbage" piles up from, but mine comes from everyday reality sir

Jusy sharing and no, not pulling this out of my arse or off the internet

You forgot to post a stupid picture that shows that's your not being serious.

Sorry, Gramps. But I'm not going to give you any more respect than you've given me here. So suck it.

So Socialist policies are limited to government ownership now?

Epic fail there, Zkribbler. You tax companies and distribute the proceeds among voters (hey!) to regulate the market, that's a Socialist approach in my book.

So you act like a jerk and then complain about me responding in kind.

Wow, very simple Gramps, surprised no one thunk up that tactic before you

Oh and I never found your picture funny, so

Criticism is fine. I happen to agree in this instance: I don't like the policy proposal in question.

You're blind, however, if you can't see how "Barack Hussein Mugabe" is a smear.

The trick isn't to break some eggs to make an omelette, it's convincing the eggs to break themselves in order to aspire to omelettehood.

It's a clearly Mugabeist policy; set up a successful industry as a villain, seize their assets (there is no such thing as a "windfall profit") and redistribute them.

It'll be bad for the economy and probably commodity prices to go up farther and faster, utterly destroying any chance of relief to the American consumer.

Yes, it's an exaggeration; I don't think anything Obama can do (at least Constitutionally) could be as damaging as Mugabe and ZANU. But it's frightening how close this gets to being something that would be proposed in some tin pot dictatorship.
