  • So this is where you pretend that you made an argument with any logical coherence whatsoever, declare victory, and stalk off. Cools.

G Dub resembles a chimp, and the GOP is totally ****ed.

    Two indisputable facts!

    • You realize of course that while you are throwing your temper tantrum nobody here has forgoten that;

1.) nuclear power is still profitable.

2.) our doctors are still the best in the world and you have a problem with that

3.) the majoirty of the worlds premier medical institutions are in our country, not those with nationalized health care.

Or that you failed to actually counter any of those three.

Let me help you out by pointing out where you fell off your short bus:

Ok, so instead of making a coherent argument, you've decided to go with meaningless platitudes. Cool.
Facts germain to the discussion /= meaningless platitueds.

So now that you know where your disconnect is pick yourself up, brush yourself off, and pretend you are older than three.

Projecting much? 3 year old? Short bus? Just sad and pathetic...

1.) nuclear power is still profitable.
It's not anywhere close to as profitable as coal. Which is my point. You won't get massive investment into nuclear until it is. Peripheral investment is obviously not relevant to this argument.

2.) our doctors are still the best in the world and you have a problem with that

3.) the majoirty of the worlds premier medical institutions are in our country, not those with nationalized health care.

The fact that I didn't contest your "indisputable facts" might give you a hint here that your "indisputable facts" are not related to the argument about universal health care.

Let me help you out by pointing out where you fell off your short bus:
If you really want to use the ****** card...

        I wrote this:

"And I don't see how any of this has anything to do with universal heath care."

        You wrote this in response:
"That there is a reason the majority of top rated medical institutions and thus inovators are in the US and not in places with nationalized health care."

That is not an argument. It is a bald assertion. I know you're not so dumb as to believe that you made a logically coherent argument, so let's just drop this charade.

Your logic is totally ****ed here. It's remarkable to see you continue insisting otherwise...

        • Ramo, I can only hope that one day you learn the value of knowing when to walk away. Until that time...

I want to think about what you just said for a minute, and then let us know why you think an increas in taxation will cause oil companies to reduce production vice just raise prices to compensate.

You always come off sounding condescending when you don't have any idea about what you are talking about.

The demand for a product is a line that only has one price per production level. If they produce a different amount they will have to change their price.

This is relavent because you said the profit tax will increase gas prices. I don't you that the companies will not produce more or less gas because of the profit tax. That implies that they will not charge a different price.
