      Another British actor in Batman?!

Get some Americans . Maybe Edward Norton.

Are you kidding? Norton? Seriously? Forget that Hulk throwback.

What's wrong with Norton? He's a fabulous actor.

Ok, me and Jaguar talked it over. Riddler will be played by Leonardo DiCaprio, if he's free.

Isn't the dark knight the one who fights against Artus, loses some arms and legs and then wants to call it a draw?

Dad jailed after leaving toddler in car while seeing 'The Dark Knight'

Posted: 11:46 AM- A 23-year-old father was booked into jail under suspicion of second-degree child abuse after leaving his son in his car while he watched the midnight showing of "The Dark Knight."
David Farnham of Salt Lake City left his 2-year-old son inside his car in the parking lot of the Century 16 Theaters at 125 E. 3300 South on Saturday night. An onlooker walking by the car at 1:22 a.m. on Sunday saw the baby inside the vehicle crying and sweating profusely, said detective Gary Keller with the South Salt Lake City Police Department.
Farnham rolled the windows up in the car "so the child could not be taken out," according to a jail booking statement. The temperature inside the vehicle was 87 degrees, the statement added.
Farnham was located inside of the theater and the boy was taken out of the car. The boy was thirsty, but otherwise in good condition, Keller said.
The boy has since been released to his mother. Farnham was booked into the Salt Lake County Metro Jail where he is being held without bail.
The case has been turned over for screening at the District Attorney's Office.

That's very funny. I'd take Norton over DiCraprio actually.

At the level of the scene, a whole bunch of really fine scenes.

But as a movie? Meh. Way, way, way, way too long, with a really flabby narrative structure. The whole drawn out climax with the ferries, in particular, was just agonizingly dull as well as feeling derivative ("hey, Spiderman had a scene about the heroism or ordinary people; let's have a scene about the heroism of ordinary people!").

And it's a good thing they left the word "Batman" out of the title, because they practically left him out of the film. Oh, he shows up in plenty of scenes, sure; but as a character (as opposed to a catalyst fro action), he's barely there. Or, as my daughter said: why cast an actor as good as Christian Bale and then not give him a scene?

All in all, better movie than not -- but Ledger's acting is the only thing about it that lived up to the hype.

I though that scene was very lame. There wasn't one parent on the ferry?? Can you imagine any mother or father sitting still while his/her child's life was in danger. That button would have been pushed in 0.00001 seconds.

I've always seen Riddler as a thin-build character. While I think DiCaprio would do a fine job, the believability meter would be low. Norton is more the right build, but he's too.. soft looking to me.

I see the Riddler as someone like the poster above said, Anthony Hopkins from Silence of the Lambs, that to me is the Riddler, but with a thinner build.

Hence my suggestion of Paul Bettany playing an evil genius.
The Riddler is easy for them to remake.

What in the world is funny about it? DiCaprio is one of the greatest actors working today. He's been doing great role after great role since 2000.

What is wrong with you people . The ferry scene was one of the best scenes of the movie and shows that on that line, humanity can choose good and won't always be corrupted.
