Let me ask these questions. Was the USA not asked to join WWII, and declined, until attack on our country?
Maybe we should have, but we didn't.
We were in Korea. We were asked for help.
Vietnam. We were asked for help.
        Iraq asked for help.
You tell me one time that America has been an aggressor. Kept land that we held. This is just offered to the general poster, not to anyone specific.
If you want to hate America, go ahead. Maybe someday we'll say "No", and not.

Well we can see how you look at things. I hope you won't be teaching US History. A lot of regular people make history. It's not just about presidents who get shot and things like that. Who would MLK be without all the footsoldiers that made the Civil Rights Movement what it was?

While this is a useless troll, I agree with your point.

I'm not disagreeing with your general point but:

We picked up the entire west of the US in the Mexican American War.

We picked up the Phillipines, Puerto Rico, Guam and Cuba in the Spanish American War.

We picked up various Pacific islands in WWII.

I wouldn't characterize our operations in Iraq as the result of an invitation.

On the other hand, I think it is fair to say that most of the wars America has been involved in were either the result of the US being attacked or the US being asked to aid a county that was attacked.

All I know is that before WWII everyone was in black and white, as color hadn't been invented yet.

After WWII were poodle skirts and American Bandstand, and then everyone starting becoming green tinted. Then we landed on the moon, killed a president whose family brought us alcohol, elected an actor to office, let Hasselhof defeat communism, invaded Iraq, went temporarily insane and pulled out of Iraq, and then invaded again.

                            That's about it.

Also people were generally walking much faster at the beginning of the 20th century. I watched historic footage and they were all running like mad
