i can no longer sort my bookmarks by name... the option is not even in my right click menu.

oops i figured out how to rename them

but i click on the bookmarks tab at top... and on the list (the main firefox page now) there used to me a sort by name option on the right click menu.

now i go to organize bookmarks and sort by name on the seperate window and after they are sorted i exit, click on the main bookmark tab again...

and they are still out of order. i have to drag and move every damn one now. im too lazy to always do that!

AAHZ, after you click organize bookmarks, click views and mouse over sort. The 2nd option should be sort by name.

i know that.

it only organized them on that stupid window.

i have all my bookmarks on the main list BELOW the organize bookmarks button. and there is no way in FF3 to auto-organize them with out going to the organize bookmarks window or manually dragging all of them where i want... all of which does NOTHING to the main list that is not inside that window.

in FF2 i could right click and sort by name without even going to the organize bookmarks window.

apparently that makes too much sense. some jackass brown-noser wanted to see his brilliant idea in action and killed a major reason for people to avoid it completely in doing so. we are all forced to use that near-useless feature, and he got his raise and promotion. That jackass developer probably dosent even USE the damn browser in the first place so it is not surprising.
