      I completley agree with this, but there are some who are not aware of the realities of human biology and what is a physiological reaction and what a decision. But the reason I took the example I did for rape is becasue I really didn't want to get into that debate as well, so I chose an example that everyone can agree with.

        I would say the reverse. When you only look at individual humans, you lose sight of reality. No system is ever going to be 100% just, but when you focus on the larger reality, when you focus on fixing the problems suffered by the oppressed, you will go much farther in fixing the world's problems than if you focus on the occasional injustice directed by the oppressed at their oppressors.

        Conservatives, having a vested interested in maintaining the system of oppression that gives them authority, privilege, and power, would rather we focus solely on individual problems, so that they can discredit larger social movements which seek equity and justice.

        Oh noes. There's a commercial about women being violent towards men. Poor oppressed men, with the majority of the jobs, power, and wealth.

                                So since it happens rarely, it should just be ignored? Don't you think that it is wrong for it be considered amusing or ok in the society for women to use violence against men if they... in this instance, get them a horrible Christmas present?
