More Philippine Pics

Ok, the three colors in this pic are on the swatch we got at our home store. In fact this pic IS ON our swatch. The dark one is D5 Submarine on the back wall. We were going to use that for trim outside and wall inside.(Might be too dark)

The light color, here in the cabinets and trim, is C-10 wells Beach. We were going to use that for walls outside, trim inside. The middle color, C-10-2 Trail Blazer here on the center island we figured for door outside door inside.

I think I had a head start. So, what do you think of those colors on and in that building? You're going to see it from your hammock so...

Truthfully, they don't do much for me.

But if Dolores likes them, her vote is much bigger than mine.

This might take some time. I was just on the Dutch Boy site and I didn't like ANY of their color schemes.

I like your Jagna house, but it's color scheme IIRC is simply white. Ooooh, that's a big help, isn't it?

Actually we need to figure the tiles before too long, but we have some time anyway.

I meant slow as in, not checking to see if what I'm posting has already been posted. (Did it with Alinestra's pic too...)

It's a pretty color scheme. An earthy look to it that would go well with a building with trees growing through it.

The tiles that would go best with that "submarine" color are the dark blue and dark brown from post #258 I think. Maybe even the redish one would work. All of them would make for a pretty dark room though. I'm not sure about the "marine blue" tile in post #309. It's close to working, would give the impression you're walking on water in a forest/lagoon? Might work better with a greener green for the walls. It goes well with the "trailblazer" and "wells beach" though.

The pink and green tiles clash with the submarine green.

Those are nice colors.

I've had that redish one in the back of my mind. If we put the submarine on the interior door and the Trail Blazer for the walls inside it wouldn't be so dark.

My fear continues to be that, especially with the roll-up door shut, your place might be dark. If so, dark greens, etc. will make it look dreary.

That is a concern Zkrib. I suppose we could go with the Wells Beach on the walls inside, that would brighten it up alot.

But then we had it figured for the walls outside. Could switch those to Trail Blazer. It's bright nuf out there.

I like the peach and light peach but that yellow is a bit...yellow...

Yah, I like bright colors which is why no one should ever let me choose colors for them.

Well those pastels are really terrific. I wonder if that yellow was more of a pastel if it would work better?

I look at that room and I think pastel purpleish/lavender blinds.
