People tend to find racist diatribes a little off putting. There's a reason Obama finally felt the need to distance himself from his mentor of 20 years (after taking his earplugs out apparently) and the politicians that go to Catholic churches haven't felt that same need since the election of Kennedy. His arguement is stupid and is quite frankly one of the reasons I tend to avoid religious threads by and large as the answer is mainly dependent on the opinion of the person making the arguement with little basis in fact.
