Aside from, say, the facts of how AIDS began and was spread, of course.

        • There's one thing I don't get about this AIDS theory - doesn't it suppose that African-Americans are genetically more susceptible to the disease than other races? If not, how could it "target" anyone? Last I heard it was an equal-opportunity killer, but there may be studies out there that I'm not privy to.
          Unbelievable!

No, I have a healthy distrust of the government performing any services for my direct benefit. I certainly don't trust them to provide me adequate health care, or otherwise protect my healthcare (ie, fda)

For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio

You sound like you are paranoid. I'm suggesting that African Americans have a rational reason to believe that the govt doesn't have their best interest in mind regarding their health.

Plus we're defeating the ignore feature, right?

I'm curious as to why you would trust the government on healthcare but you don't on such things as, oh, say, the Iraq war and its causes, and for that matter pretty much anything republicans have done in the past years in general.

You certainly don't trust the government on fiscal issues, why health care?

Isn't it in their best interest for me to be healthy? Who's going to fight the wars and work in the factories if everyones sick?
