Fan is overstating it. I support them, considering the Colombian government is the worst in all the Americas. If you're a trade unionist, it's the worst place on Earth, as half of all trade unionists murdered in the world are killed in Colombia (or close to it). People complain about the lack of a political opposition in Cuba. Well, the left opposition in Colombia was physically exterminated. The last guerrilla group to lay down arms and return to civilian life was subsequently slaughtered. Between M-19 and the rest of the people that made up the United Left, some ten thousand were murdered in the early 90s.
