A couple of years ago our jets made pics of the deck of such ship with no response from interceptors at all. A month or so ago a Norwegian oil company stopped its helicopter flights to one of their oil drilling platforms, because their radars couldn't detect jets from the Russian aircraft carrier.Originally posted by Krill

Just a month ago Russian ASW ships detected and "destroyed" a foreign submarine that tried to approach a Russian aircraft carrier too close during its Mediterranean/Atlantic exercises.
