This is a closer view of the limestone quarry's conveyor and tug boats. Likely these are ex US, or possibly ex Japanese (the one in the back) WWII tugboats. Might have pushed the Enterprise around.

Plane Leaving LAX circles for 20 Minutes

A plane leaving LAX for Hong Kong and then Cebu, Phillippines, strangely circled the city for 20 minutes.

"This was not part of the normal flight pattern," said air traffic controller Doug Shemp.

Concerns were there might be a hijacking, but that was quickly ruled out. The flight continued on normally after 1 of 2 Americans sitting by the right wing was moved to the other side.

"He said he never liked the right wing anyway, so that was fine," continued Shemp. "But we cut them both down to 1 meal each for the flight, just to be safe."

Zkrib, that's great! How much time off did you get? We don't any of us have the dough for 1st class, economy doesn't want us anymore so they said we're 'no class'. Sounds different anyway. It'll be more fun than usual. Of course as usual is about as much fun as getting hit with a stick, but it'll be better than that.

Can't wait... In 2010 we'll theoreticly be able to fly directly into Panglao from HK! Or maybe even direct from the US.

I can see pics from home (now) just fine. It's only at work that I can't.

Anyway, the Paypal site still says they are reviewing the transaction. I sent them an email telling them to send it on through. I'll give them another day or two to do it and if they don't, I'll pull the plug and get you the money some other way.

Count me unimpressed. I've yet to receive any human contact from Paypal. I've gotten several automated emails dealing with the account restriction, but I've resolved that days ago now.
