  • You got lucky Zkrib, my axe was at the cleaners.

AAHZ, if you can make it you should come visit, and that stuff about having more fun with someone else?

We live quietly pretty much, go swimming, live healthy, go for walks in the cool of the morning, occasionally have a few drinks on the weekend. We respect the people here and get along with everyone.

Just say the word and I'll give you lots of details on how to get here safely. When you're to arrive I'll have a very trusted family member meet you at the airport and escort you the rest of the way home.

All we ask is that you pay what it costs us to put you up,and that's very little. Most things are very cheap here.

    No worries.

      • Thanks Lancer and Everyone.

I am sorry i am so paranoid and silly. I have a lot of problems that i have not shared with people here, and i do not plan on it for fear of a total troll-a-thon upon me.

I will let you know and I apologize in advance for any inconveience.

        • You're on a well worn path AAHZ. Hang in there.

Theben, I meant she's gotten even nuttier.

Actually no, and I'm a bit disappointed about PayPal. I have it set up as direct debit account, and when I buy something, they pay it and have the right to charge my bank account, completely painless. Not in this case sadly - it appears that for monetary transfers they don't use direct debit and insist on the money be transferred to them manually, then they pay. Anyway, I got a notification this morning, that the transfer is complete. Still faster than a check in the letter.

I should add that Zkrib actually is. He's a crusader fighting big corporations in the cause of the working man.

                  • Would you have any problem with a cheque drawn in Cdn funds Lancer? Will your bank cash/exchange it?

Actually, I'm not. As a court employee, I must remain neutral.

In fact, today I'll be processing some papers so that folks are evicted from their apartments for non-payment of rent. (Merry f*kng Christmas.)

How close are we to getting a decent house for these folks? I sent in $100 ('cause I'm not gonna let no lousy Texan show me up), but I can afford a little more if you need it.

                              • I'm going much cheaper than that with the same caveat. I'll kick in more if the rest of the donations come up short. I'll write the cheque now before I forget again.
