Anyone in the mood to help build a house ala the Poly House?
Man, I'm sore like I just went 12 rounds with Manny Pachio, the 'Pac Man', the great, but not real big, Philippine boxer. I jumped in to that work yesterday like a 20 year old, but today I get to remember I'm not a 20 year old.
I'm about to start on the promised details, and will edit them to this post, or make a new post...just too many decisions, woog, erg.
Zkrib, thanks for hammering the contribitors
Winston, I gotta admit those salamis hit him hard.

I know you said you wanted a raise Lancer but this isn't the way to do it.

Sir Ralph got in the first contribution but it's pending, no doubt because he's using EU funny money or something. Thanks SR $20
Aeson decided to go after this project in a big way, thanks man, you amazed Rigo who makes $5 a day toiling on my seawall. $300
The most recent contribution is $15 from someone who didn't include a message with their paypal donation so I don't know their Poly name though I recognise their real name from Poly house days, I think...:senile: I even could hazard a guess who it is, but won't.
So, paypal charges have knocked the total down to $302.11, which doesn't include SR's pending $20.
Every donation is much needed and very much appreciated. Marivic almost comes to tears when I tell them about a donation, Rigo just gets this look like I don't know...he looks honored, amazed that people from around the world would care to lift his little family up from nowhere. His look includes what I'd call determination too. He's a hard working fellow, and honorable man who lost the birth lottery and got born in a country where a hard working man can have no oportunity. I like him, everybody seems to always like Rodrigo. Their daughter, Irish, well I'd guess she has much of a clue about all this.
Regarding my dealings with paypal, it turns out to transfer $ to a bank acct they want my credit card info which I refuse to give them as I'm connected to the internet over the wifi and the comp may be somewhat buggy from all the endless little funny videos Dolores's friends send her. So, I've decided to wait to transfer until I get home to the US and my connection is secure. Until then I'll use funds I have in the bank and replace them from the paypal funds at home.
So, if you have no other way of contributing than paypal, go for it. If however you can send a check to the address provided, it is a bit easier on me. Either way, it is all much appreciated, and well used.

I contribute to your mail order fraud house building scheme in the new year.
What type of sentence can you get in the Phils for fraud anyway?

The only time I can realistically get away is in July/August and why would I leave this country during the short time it is hot?
Besides you don't want me swinging a hammer.

I don't know about using Paypal. I can't read stuff off the pc, I have to print out a hard copy.
I'll send a check for 100 bucks and ask to be matched by all these well-to-do people. Come on. You spend 1000's on new pc's. This is charity. You can write it off.
Whatever method, let's kick in. My check will hit the mail tomorrow.

However, I guess you are a skeptic to the bone, wise no doubt in this world.
I hadta do it before someone else did.
The house in question wouldn't look like a pyramid when it's done, now would it? oh, and
Miserable work, I'm beat ugg[ly]...not getting any younger I guess.
fixed.
I'm consitently stupid- Japher I think that opinion in the United States is decidedly different from the rest of the world because we have a free press -- by free, I mean a virgorously presented right wing point of view on the air and available to all.- Ned
