Re: The OFFICIAL U.S. presidential predictions thread(with prizes!)

    I'll play your game.

    1. Clinton
    2. Romney
    3. No idea, really.
    4. Maybe 2% difference?
    5. Sure, Ron Paul. He's technically not 3rd Party any more, but I'm sure old habits die hard.
    6. Maybe 1%?

If he runs for election he will do so as a third party candidate (or as an indepentend/write in). He has no chance at his party's nomination

          1. Post your predictions for the winner of the democratic nomination.
          Hilary Rodham Clinton

          2. Post your prediction for the winner of the republican nomination.
          Huckabee

          3. Post your prediction for the winner of the 2008 U.S. presidential election.
          Huckabee

          4. Post your prediction for the difference in the popular vote between the Republican and Democratic candidates. If X gets 48% and Y gets 45%, then the difference is 3%. We will round to the first decimal place, so if it was 48.1% and 45%, then the difference is 3.1%
          2%

          5. Post your prediction for the third party candidate is who wins the most votes.
Ron Paul. He's not 3rd party right now, but he may be in the future. I never heard of any of the others. http://politics1.com/p2008.htm

          6. Post your prediction for the % of the popular vote the highest ranked third party candidate receives, again, rounded to the first decimal.
          1%

Personally I think he's only with the Republicans in order to exploit the publicity so he can use it for a 3rd Party run.

Most GOP folks that I know think Paul's nuts.

against hilary, yes. Obama might beat him, but I think Hilary will rise up again. She's taking a beating right now though. Oprah has helped Obama with the female numbers, but I don't think it will be enough. the big dogs will go with a slimy politician (Hilary) over a relative newcomer like Obama.

Don't think Guilani will get it. I won't vote for him. I heard on meet the press last night that he was making millions of dollars on speeches, and because of them missed that Iraq war panel. I didn't hear all the details, but he was essentually booted because he didn't show up to the meetings. He's just a greedy politician imho.

His recent statements re-affiriming what he said about about AIDS/HIV and quaranteening them, will bite him in the ass big time if he wins the nomination. The attack ads would be so easy they would write themselves.

Dis, edit your % guesses, you got .9 to work with in either direction.

                              1. BIDEN!
                              2. Romney
                              3. BIDEN!
                              4. 2%
                              5. Ralph Nader (might not even run, but oh well)
                              6. 2%

Why is Biden being ignored by teh media when he is clearly the best Democratic candidate?

at first i though 'oh, what a boring thread. i'm not going to click it.' but then i saw the words (with prizes!) and i opened it.
it's still a boring thread though.
