It's been abismally cool here lately too. 61, 61, 59, and 63F the last 4 days. I demand my 65F "winter" average!

it's supposed to be getting in the 30's in Vegas . Serious, I need seasons. It's nice it gets cold (for me) in the winter. It's so much better than when I was in the middle east in winter, and it was still warm and a little hot. They get no break from the heat. I'm happy to have a break with cold weather.

Warm is fine-- but HOT??? What do you wear outside (and not be in a pool or in the ocean) in 40 degrees celcius and be comfortable? Say you are walking outside.. . .

Usually I am in a pool. Honestly any weather that I can swim in I can't complain about.

you can't be in the water all the time. many people have things called jobs.

Vegas summers are just hot. You can say it's dry heat all you want, it's still hot.

Damn right.

A second reason to love the winter: when I'm at work or studying when it's warm and sunny outside, it reminds me of how much it sucks to be cooped up inside. However, when the thought of -40 windchill makes the outdoors associated with nothing other than suffering and death, you suddenly gain a new appreciation for the shelter a lot of people take for granted.
