  • Yes and that fact alone already gives me vertigo of running around your mental and cultural capacities.
I doesn't matter what you think, especially since you are obviously wrong. If the cop intended to tazz him regardless, he would not have given him a half dozen warning over 15 seconds and would have rather just shot him right away.

    2) You have very strange concept of forced.

Situations where know it all douche bags do exactly what this cop was justified in expecting given the drivers attitude are not uncommon.

      • I sort of vaguely remember a story about a cop tazing a young kid, maybe six years old a few years back. How much of a ***** do you have to be in order to use a tazer to restrain a child that young?

        • The boy was surely a nob jockey and a stupid elementary school know it all.

If him getting disiplined had anything to do with him doing anything wrong or right, you might have a bet. Since this is not the case, you don't.

              1) Bull****, for the reaons already stated.

              2) If someone tells me to put my hands over my head when they have a gun or taser pointed at me I bloody well do what they say and I don't ignore them. Being difficult is not going to be good for me in the long or short term, whether there is a reason to have a taser/gun pointed at me or not.
You just wasted six ... no, seven ... seconds of your life reading this sentence.

              • It was a situational power struggle, and stupid dude lost.

I almost hope he'll keep his horrendous attitude and continue to get himself into similar kinds of trouble.

Riiiight. Police forces routinely disclipline their officers for a job well done.

Patroklos confidence on this issue = .1/10

                    The cop shudda explained:
                    (1) sign the ticket, or you go to jail -- that's the law.
                    (2) I'm placing you under arrest; stop walking back to your car, or I'll taze you.

                    The kid shudda realized:
                    (1) You don't try to out-macho a cop,
                    (2) You don't try to walk away from a cop pointing any kind of weapon at you.

                    • Agree with all that. The question of course is - Which one of these two is supposed to be the "professional" in this situation?

At what age are you under the impression a person poses a danger? Have you read nothing about adult criminals enlisting juveniles, because juveniles have traditionally walked away? Even if the juvenile is acting of their own accord, their age dispels the chance of danger?

                            • Definately. I've not seen the video, but the guy who got tased was a right nob jockey, and deserves most things that happens to him
To me he seemed perfectly reasonable... if you've been pulled over and you don't think you've done anything wrong then you don't just bend over and say "yes sir, no sir, three bags full sir!".

He was passive, emotionless and exercising his rights - it seemed that the officer wasn't responding well to having his power trip undermined. The fact that a woman was there probably only increased his need to be the alpha male. Out comes the voltage.
