      Figures.

I think I handle things differently, tons of people in here are like "i hope he survives so he can suffer for the rest of his life" and stuff like that. I don't hope that happens. I feel that the guy was totally lost and insane. Why would I want him to suffer more? I'd rather see him in prison, serve the sentence and no one bothers him. But oh well, he died.

Did he kill random people or kids who had made fun of him?

                Spec, that's not funny.

Stop giving these nuts the attention they desire. I won't read his "manifesto".

                  That's what I did.
I hesitated then decided not to read it, for the same reason.

Before Columbine there were at least 3 other major school mass shooting incidents in the US. For some reason gang killings in the US that take near schools don't seem to get put into the same class as non-gang school shootings. They usually take place outside of the school buildings because the shooters aren't suicidal and usually plan to get away.

Better enjoy things and take every day as they come, because it might end if you are in the wrong place in the wrong time and you never had a chance. So why woudl I be afraid? I'd rather be happy and take advantage of the days alive.

                      I completely agree.

He declares himself a social darwinist, then he shoots himself in the head? What exactly was he trying to tell us?

Sez you. I got a little chuckle out of it.

I'm not sure what to make of this particular crazy, TBH. He doesn't write like a psycho exactly, more like some dipstick hipster "ironically" posing as a psycho. The manifesto's just got that air of "haha I am a witty and subversive fellow, look at me."

I read it. Pekka was (it seems) informed about the concepts he wrote about. His manifesto is more coherent than the ramblings of that Korean guy who went on a rampage recently. It is even somewhat novel as far as motives go: he wanted to replace the existing governments with technocracies in which the smart ruled over the dumb

I don't think that he is going to start a mass movement among teens with that kind of philosophy, but you never know.

That he has really high standards for who deserves to live?

Yep, I do. Try again in a couple of weeks and I'll probably chuckle a bit too, though not within 24 hours of eight people murdered.
