Good start but why did you follow it with this?

Anyway, here's the "manifesto" of the killer:

Stop giving these nuts the attention they desire. I won't read his "manifesto".

No, it happened, just on a smaller scale...or it involved only black kids and therefore didn't make the news.

I was sure it would happen here sooner or later... I guess though that the phenomenon will at some point experience an inflation as the cases increase in number and their news value decreases...

I thought hand guns were hard to get in Finland (though hunting rifles are supposedly very common).

There were school shooting before Columbine. I can think of one which occured in Stockton, CA a few years before which featured a guy pissed off that he had to pay, what he considered to much, child support. He's response was to shoot up a school totally unrelated to his kids. :\

Couldn't go beyond the first page without people giving their political agendas, well more like attacking some side, congratulations:

Not that I mind, I'm not insulted, I didn't know anyone that died there, but class is showing, I think jokes and stuff should be on the second page and forward, not the first ones.

After reading post #11 it seems like the guy was trying to commit suicide and was hoping to kill a bunch of people before getting the cops to shot him. What a weak ****.

If you want to kill yourself then kill yourself without harming others around you.

But individual users can set the number of posts per page. How do you decide the standard?

Anyway, the politicization had to happen sooner or later...sooner, really. It's not like there's a lot to discuss about the incident itself: "I think killing seven little kids in cold blood is a bad thing." "I disagree; this is the only solution to Finland's overcrowded schools." "I would say that it's a bad thing if only the kids in question weren't Suomi. Finns aren't human and don't have feelings."

If he does it this way we will all talk about him and read his manifesto. He gets the fame he doesn't deserve.

Well, I'm sure a lot of people are curious at his motives. The manifesto itself comes off as vague social and political ramblings mixed with delusions of grandeur. Apparently, this guy thought himself one of the few "intelligent elite" who realized humanity was enslaved by totalitarian governments. He thought himself good enough to carry out natural selection.

                          I am a ... godlike atheist.
I take it he didn't believe in himself, then? No wonder he was so nuts

Oh, and BTW, I think this guy just trolled all of us hardcore. Here's the content of "Hate & Love.doc" from a package which, as far as I can tell, he uploaded to megaupload before shooting up the school...

                          What do I hate / What I don’t like?
Equality, tolerance, human rights, political correctness, hypocrisy, ignorance, enslaving religions and ideologies, antidepressants, TV soap operas & drama shows, rap -music, mass media, censorship, political populists, religious fanatics, moral majority, totalitarianism, consumerism, democracy, pacifism, state mafia, alcholohics, TV commercials, human race.
What do I love / what do I like?
Existentialism, self-awareness, freedom, justice, truth, moral & political philosophy, personal & social psychology, evolution science, political incorrectness, guns, shooting, BDSM, computers, internet, aggressive electronic and industrial rock & metal music, violent movies, , FPS –computer games, sarcasm, irony, black humour, macabre artm mass & serial killer cases, natural disasters, eugenics
You know, pretty much every group who thinks that X is evil and thinks it causes school shootings gets material from this one...

And like all the other cases we will know his name but not the names of his victims.

                              lol 4chan LOL

(note for those who aren't bored geeks with better things to do: "An hero" means someone who commits suicide. It's a reference to Mitchell Henderson, whose friends made a MySpace page in his honour... constantly referring to him as "an hero")
