If we expect to hold official Muslim celebrations in England, then it is only right for us to expect the same for Christians in Mecca.

Tolerance is reciprocal and it is not coerced. This feels not like tolerance but capitulation.

It's capitulation when you force teachers to wear a burkha. Again, ask yourself if they would do it for people to wear crosses, and see if your response is the same thing.

As for the Jews, they do reciprocate, they do recognise Christian holidays, and so we should also recognise Jewish holidays. Honestly, I don't see what's so controversial about this statement.

So wait... since some of their religious brethern in ANOTHER COUNTRY are intolerant, we shouldn't give tolerance to the ones who are currently in the country, many of whom have assimilated?
