Well it's a common problem across linksys routers.

I was looking it up just now, and all sorts of routers have had problems, specifically with myspace, and everything works fine when you bypass the router.

What router do you have?

I did everything that forum said.

We only upgraded the firmware after the myspace problem started.

And I'm sure you must have tried wiping it off and restoring the factory defaults.

I'm stumped.

What do you guys have for a firewall? That can cause these problems.

Well, Myspace still does not work on the router. It works when direct wired to the modem.

We took th router to the Mrs.' ex-husbands house and hooked it up to his modem.

We could get on Myspace through the router.

Bring the router home, still does not work.

i used to suffer from myspace addiction. i know it isn't a good thing. your router is just looking out for the children.

Have you tried setting the router to have a "DMZ" for one computer, then trying that computer? If that works, then it's the router's firewall. If that fails to work, then it's a port FORWARDING issue, not a firewall issue.

For DMZ to work, you may have to give one of your computers a static IP address instead of a dynamic one.
