I'm really quite anxious to see everyone's lists.

I was just compiling them actually in preparation for the official game thread. We have a very interesting list of celebs. Some players have gone with what I believe you referred to as "assassination bait" lists. Others have the usual aging actors and politicians. A fair number of younger celebs have been chosen (one in particular was chosen surprisingly often - the new "River Phoenix" in the making...?). We currently have 171 celebs in the Pool however some names will drop off as they are reserve picks and of course the mighty Embalmer has yet to bless us with his team so I don't know how many unique picks he might have. We should start with over 150 celebs anyway.

I'm glad for your sake that you got a good number of players Wezil, both because this has been such a bone of contention for you for a good number of years (sorry... didn't mean to bring up bad memories ) and to prove those people wrong on this site who said the effort would fail.

A hearty for your efforts.

However, I really do think some sort of trophey should be offered the "winner" (something small, cheap, but appropriate) ....after all, though that might be in bad taste, it's not as if this game is in good taste to begin with, right?

Regardless, I offer my most sincere good wishes to all the other players and, of course, all of the people choosen as picks for the dead pool. I hope that if they do shove off this mortal coil during the coming year, at least their exit will be a quick and relatively painless one.
