It was an interesting pick to be sure. When I first saw the name I didn't have a clue who it was (you had another one of those on your list as well, although that name was probably more familiar to Americans).
Everyone on my list is either pretty well known or obscure people I pulled off that page that Americans probably don't know any better than Canadians would.
