I can understand why Ming shut it down before.
As you have said there are plenty of 'dead pool' resources out there. I don't see why 'Poly' needs to have one.
I won't be participating here or there.
I am fairly easy going but I don't think this topic fits well with the 'Apolyton ethos'.
Basically if you happened to be an 'aged ' or 'ill' celebrity and came across threads here 'wagering' on your life expectancy chances I imagine you might be upset. Yes I acknowledge, some might find it funny, but causing serious distress to even one celeb, I don't find funny.
And if upset they might wish to take legal action against this site.

No, do the math.
If Rank 1 is worth 20 pts, rather than adding that, subtract the actual rank from 171. Or whatever amount you want.
