This may be a conservative organization attacking this, but this quote

“[a] racist is one who is both privileged and socialized on the basis of race by a white supremacist (racist) system. The term applies to all white people (i.e., people of European descent) living in the United States, regardless of class, gender, religion, culture or sexuality.”

signifies that the university has grave problems of racism itself.

Perhaps one day people will figure out that providing "equal opportunity" means that you stop recognizing race in any way shape or form as a basis for making social decisions.
"I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and you disagree with this administration somehow you're not patriotic. We should stand up and say we are Americans and we have a right to debate and disagree with any administration." - Hillary Clinton, 2003

While this is true, I have no problem when institutional racism benefits those of my ethnic background.

I took an "Issues in Diversity" course that used a similar definition. It was a white guilt course.

I managed to avoid this rubbish somehow throughout my college years, but it probably existed in some form, somewhere on campus. Eh. Don't care. On the semi-rare occasions I've had to parrot nonsense to pass courses, I just sloughed said nonsense off like dead skin the moment I handed in my final.

The story is true. Are you ok with what the University of Delaware is doing?

                  Damn, you're gullible.

The ONLY reference to this story is coming from FIRE's press release. Just because someone posts something on the web does not make it true, Caligastia.

I suppose they just made it all up...

Yeah, they would risk a libel suit and their entire organization by making up this whole thing.

Do you your own research. If you find it so hard to believe this is true you truly are naive.

Seems to be far, far, far tamer than the article in the OP.

Take a look at the writings of Dr. Shakti Butler on the University website. You'll find that his beliefs are totally in line with the contents of the pdf on FIRE's website.

The funny thing is that he's unintentionally making the case for segregation. If all whites in the U.S. are racist, then complete separation is the only way for whites to avoid being racist.
