No. I believe it is GOP policy to deport them to Mexico.

No. The DNC set its rules before FL voted to advanced its date. Recently the DNC decided to uphold its rules No appeasment to whining states. Though both decisions, within FL and MI, were bipartisan.

And it would've been far worse if Dean hadn't put his foot down while the GOP had their thumbs up their asses.

I hope they follow through on it. It will be kinda funny to see the reaction in the various states effected when they find out Dean removed thier right to vote for their nominee. I'd also like to see Edwards flee from someone who asked him about healthcare.

          Fixed

No problemo...Edwards: "My proposal for healthcare? Sure. [Blah, blah, yatta, yatta] Now, give me money."

I think we should change the primaries to more resemble "Ninja Warrior". It would slightly reduce the absurdity of it all at least.

Is like when the State threatens me with prison if I rob a bank. If I rob the bank, it's not the State's fault I go to prison...it's my fault for disregarding the "threat."

Taking away the delegates gained from a primary election that a fraction of the November 7th electorate votes won't dissuade many people from voting democratic. It'll piss off activists and the usual Democratic constitutencies, but Grandma and Grandpa Snowbird from Long Island will still vote dem.

If they are explicitly being told by the Dems that their votes won't matter, why would they?

The law that made this happen, also stripped minor parties of their right to control who runs with their name. It also made it possible for us minor parties to have to pay for primaries if two or more people in the same district decide to run on our ticket. It was more or less a wholesale attack on democracy.

BTW, we've been hearing down here that the GOP is going to disallow Florida's delegates at the convention also.

I can;t think how any Florida Democrats would fail to come out to vote come election day becuase their primary delegation was ignored. I certainly don't think it will matter much to non-affiliated voters. Ergo, the effects on the general election, which is what matters, will be minimal if any.
