That's probably the case for me. I wanted to watch all of season 3 in time in order to catch the season 4 premier.

Do you not have access to SciFi.com in Belgium? Oerdin's posted the link like 2 or 3 times now.

Alluc is your friend. Same with surfthechannel. Failing that Pirate Bay has HD-DVD copies of seasons 1-3 in their entirety.

Anyway, I think I've found it on tudou, a Chinese site which needless to say doesn't take copyright seriously. Learning Chinese is starting to have its advantages.

              Failing that...

Edited by Locutus: Oerdin, you've been around long enough to know we don't allow linking to pirated content. You can talk about piracy all you want, just don't tell people how to actually do it.

                Don't people use Usenet anymore?
Within weeks they'll be re-opening the shipyards
And notifying the next of kin
                Once again...

Doesn't work for us smelly outlanders though

Fortunately I downloaded it from elsewhere. Pretty dull episode. Starbuck turns up out of nowhere, what happens? Nothing (until the very end, when it looked like she was about to do something, but we got a "to be continued" instead). The newly-revealed Cylons did absolutely nothing (I should've realised Tigh's dream was fake when it would have actually advanced the plot), the big battle against the Cylons petered out. The only thing moderately interesting involved Balthar, as usual.

On the plus side, they've finally admitted it: the Cylons don't have a plan

Never really got the hang of it. You just troll the endless threads of usenet until you get lucky?

                      Nope...

Every Sunday morning (my time) I go to alt.binaries.multimedia.scifi and get the latest Dr. Who, Torchwood, BSG, SG Atlantis and what have you. And then there is alt.bibaries.tv where I get all the other stuff.

No need to "troll endless threads", just know where to look and when.

Oh, and it's way faster than downloading torrents.

                      • Depends entirely on the torrent, I can easily completely max out my connection if there are enough seeders, which I've never seen on Usenet (not that I use it much, torrents are so much easier). On fairly busy hours too, must be the only one in the street with ADSL...

BTW, if anyone else is wondering where the podcast is, apparently Ron moved his blog during the strike and didn't tell anyone (http://rondmoore.com/): he's busy because he's directing an episode in Vancouver(!), he'll record it later in the week.
