We were showed something that resembled North America.

        • That was at the end of season three - showing us that our Earth existed within the universe the show takes place. but there wasn't much to show that the planet they landed on and saw nuked was our earth - no shots of continents, no shots of a large moon (which would be a distinguishing feature). Of course, Starbuck described a large yellow moon when she was describing her trip at the beginning of the season. Of course, we have no idea what is going on with her now.

          • The whole Starbuck dies and comes back to life only to find a dead duplicate Starbuck subplot is way to dumb.

            • What I thought was kinda funny was how Leoben took off after they found the dead Starbuck.
Which side are we on? We're on the side of the demons, Chief. We are evil men in the gardens of paradise, sent by the forces of death to spread devastation and destruction wherever we go. I'm surprised you didn't know that. --Saul Tigh

              • Yeah, he had no clue what was going on and freaked out. Very interested to find out exactly what Starbuck is. Her burning her dead body on the funeral pyre was pretty cool.

Never heard or seen anything about them again.

                      • Last episode sucked but I guess they're building up to the final "HAHA! That really wasn't Earth and now they've found Earth and everyone is saved!" finale.

                        • I would bet strongly against that sort of ending. BSG is hardly know for classic "happy" endings, and I see nothing changing at the very end.

                          • They won't pull off a stunt like that. An overall happy ending is possible but unlikely, but they certainly won't say that the planet wasn't Earth. It's Earth, it's been nuked.

Exactly. The final will probably be a downer, but the question is just how much of a downer it'll be.

Interested to see what results from the mutiny. I'm guessing Gaeta is not long for this show. Neither is Zarek most likely.
