My ordeal in this has convinced me of the value of one Eurocom practice. I really wish that they had taught this crap (any foreign language really) to me when I was in elementary school or whenever they shove it on you people. I feel that I would have a better grasp of it rather than fumbling through the class as I am now.

We get french from about grade 4 on, earlier if we end up in French immersion.

It helps for some things, but really, it's not impossible to learn a language later. All that it really does, is for the related languages gives you another 25 percent likelihood of understanding any given word, just because many words are used between different languages.

The difference between you and Slowwy's is Slowwy knows mexican whereas you are learning Castilian, the proper Spanish.

Just get one of the spanish civvers to look it over, I don't know is Jaybe still around?

I know it isn't impossible to learn later in life but I imagine that the early exposure makes it easier to learn foreign languages. Which means since such things are required what I assume to be all majors based on my limited survey, it would be better for the US to start teaching foreign languages to it young earlier. I don't know what the options are down there for multiple languages. From my experience most people don't retain the french they learn in school, unless they continue on with their formal studies in high school, or they use it at home. That's been my case. I can't speak it very well and I have a hard enough time writing in French.

Unrelated -- I've always wondered why people name their kids Myname Mysurname II (or III or IV). Like George Bush III. Come on! Names are cheap, give kid a different one, heck, give him two but not your own

Una vez en Memphis, tendré un coche habrá esperado en usted. "habra esperando" and "en usted" is wrong.
If you want to say, once in Memphis I will have a car waiting for you, the sentence should be the same but with "Una vez en Menphis, tendré un coche esperando por usted"


Durante su viaje, usted podrá asistir un juego de futbol de norteamericano entre el Universidad de Mississippi y el Universidad de Missouri.

Universidad is a feminine word, so it should be entre la universidad de Mississippi y la Universidad de Missouri.
Also, futbol de norteamericano sounds weird (it sounds like rugby of australian instead of australian rugby in english), futbol norteamericano is better

Should be Oxford tiene también un cine y muchos parques para sacar a pasear a su perro. La ciudad tiene también... and the rest is ok, the tenga in tenga un buen viaje is ok.

seems kinds ambiguous

If you meant, your flight to San Jose then write

Su vuelo a San Jose


If you meant your flight from San Jose

then Su vuelo desde San Jose



Even tough it is not perfect spanish, it is easy to understand, quite good, the only thing I didnt understand is if you meant walking with your dog, or walking the dog
