It's definitely not a non-issue. Look at it this way. Germany is world's greatest exporter. But there are only 80 million Germans, and some of them are lazy and post on internet all the time. Why is Germany then the biggest exporter?

This may seem like a non-issue to you, but it's fascinating to me. And I even think it's important. If we could figure out how to replicate 20% of German living standard everywhere, world would become a place without hunger.
There's no secret in this. Just start to make angry faces and shout to other people all the time. It also helps to lose some world wars. After that you realize the real German dilemma: it's too small to dominate Europe militarily, but it's still big enough to try....once that is established you know that you have to find something else to boost the national ego, so you start to mass produce stuff. Good stuff.

After a while it becomes clear that you'll never need all that stuff for yourself, so why not export it? Then after some exporting orgies your country becomes so rich that people get lots of vacation and national holiday (like yesterday ) to post on the net.

In what, GDP? In population maybe, but since our GDP is slightly smaller (IIRC; growth definitely is), it wouldn't be so obvious that we have larger overall exports.

EU is bigger than the US in history. In the thirteenth century, the Venetian Marco Polo was an envoy of the EU of the time. Interestingly, he served the emperor of the Yuan dynasty for 17 years, as the US served the Yuan currency, for less years but much more to come.

Seriously, where do you get your stuff from?

You have very little knowledge of anything, and seem to be getting your stuff from several extremely ... (biased would be a light word for it) stupid websites.

Reading up on Israeli politics based on the view of a totally unrepresentative minority that is also anti-israeli in its basis is incredibly unwise.

Making mis-quotes of political cheap shots to prove one's totally unrelated point is silly too. Even though I can see how that would be a pattern with other opinions you hold.

                  • Crucifixion was a Roman punishment, administered by the Roman imperial rulers. Anyone claiming to be 'King of the Jews' would clearly be treading on their toes.

Anyway, even if a group of the Jewish ruling class at the time did have a hand in it, so what? What would Jews today have to do with something that may or may not have happened 2,000 years ago - it's just pathetic. In my experience Catholics particularly love to trot out this tired and lame excuse for Joo-hate, which is perhaps why anti-Semitism is so popular in Ireland.

You are aware that you are to blame for whatever crime your forefathers have done and that you have to make public excuses on their behalf (and your own since you of course has an hereditic guilt). I'm not sure, but I don't think that your excuse count for your offspring so the will have torepeat it).
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

You can join by downloading the WJC software from this site: http://giyus.org

WHILE Israel fights Hezbollah with tanks and aircraft, its supporters are campaigning on the internet.

Israel’s Government has thrown its weight behind efforts by supporters to counter what it believes to be negative bias and a tide of pro-Arab propaganda. The Foreign Ministry has ordered trainee diplomats to track websites and chatrooms so that networks of US and European groups with hundreds of thousands of Jewish activists can place supportive messages.

In the past week nearly 5,000 members of the World Union of Jewish Students (WUJS) have downloaded special “megaphone†software that alerts them to anti-Israeli chatrooms or internet polls to enable them to post contrary viewpoints. A student team in Jerusalem combs the web in a host of different languages to flag the sites so that those who have signed up can influence an opinion survey or the course of a debate.

Jonny Cline, of the international student group, said that Jewish students and youth groups with their understanding of the web environment were ideally placed to present another side to the debate.

“We’re saying to these people that if Israel is being bashed, don’t ignore it, change it,†Mr Cline said. “A poll like CNN’s takes just a few seconds to vote in, but if thousands take part the outcome will be changed. What’s vital is that the international face of the conflict is balanced.â€

Doron Barkat, 29, in Jerusalem, spends long nights trawling the web to try to swing the debate Israel’s way. “When I see internet polls for or against Israel I send out a mailing list to vote for Israel,†he said. “It can be that after 15 minutes there will be 400 votes for Israel.

“It’s very satisfying. There are also forums where Lebanese and Israelis talk.â€

Israel’s Foreign Ministry must avoid direct involvement with the campaign but is in contact with international Jewish and evangelical Christian groups, distributing internet information packs.

Amir Gissin, the Israeli Foreign Ministry’s public relations director, said: “The internet’s become a leading tool for news, shaping the world view of millions. Our problem is the foreign media shows Lebanese suffering, but not Israeli. We’re bypassing that filter by distributing pictures showing how northern Israelis suffer from Katyusha rocket attacks.â€

The New Testament claims otherwise and there are no other sources about it, right?

No. It's more like saying that women have too much power in business and politics not too little.

That's seems pretty obvious too me.
