Arguing with you is pointless. I've already explained twice why those numbers don't account for the whole greater LA area of 17.75 million people and you've refused to account for it preferring instead to throw insults.

Greater LA sprawls over FIVE counties yet you have only accounted for one county. Saying metro LA still only counts for LA county itself where as it is actually much, much larger. You are just wrong.
Also you're using data from the year 2000 while I'm using data from 2005 for the entire greater LA area. My data is simply newer and includes the whole of greater LA where as you are just being intentionally obtuse.

As of 2005, the official estimate of the population of the Los Angeles metropolitan area is more than 12.9 million, while the larger five-county region has a population of over 17.6 million.
