    No... I'm not.
But what I am saying is that "this soap opera" has been providing the civ II forums entertainment for years, and we are used to the traditional flaming back and forth between EON and the other MPers... Nobody takes it very seriously. However, here, without many people knowing the background, it would appear to some that massive flaming and personal insults are allowed.
In the civ II forums, this is a game... here, it might appear as real flaming.
    Keep on Civin'

Then why are you not moving it?

I played Eyes once and lost. The funny thing is he can probably remember everything about that game.

Everyone turned on stack attack and mashed the numerical keypad to be the first to attack. Really really sad. I think I could write a book on why this game is so screwed.
Yes much inferior then civ II where one lone catapult could destroy a stack of 110 crusaders. Or a solo ship could destroy an armada

Thank god civ IV didn't focus on quick DUELS. (the realm of the Pe*** measurers ) Eyes thinks MP is still a single person game. I pity the experience he's missing. But then I doubt he could ever talk anyone one else in a large person game to cooperate with him.
I can hear it now. "you suck but could you attack Atawa's flank to support my attack, NOOOO his units, not mine"

His concept of what the game should be is so Myopic that it's laughable.

Why don't you tell the good people about that great trick you used to do where you'd disband units after the other guy bribed them?
You're right, I found just about every bug in this game and I'm proud of it. You were never top 10, and you were never top 20. You were a joke, accept it and move on. Also, people no longer even play with bribs allowed so your reason for bringing that up was? It's the typical beginner line "I'm not good because I have a life." It doesn't matter what game you're in, they said the exact same line in AOE3 and AOE2. EVERY beginner in the world uses that line. You're not good because you don't have as high an intelligence level as me. Understand now?

In other words you couldn't just mindlessly run a stack of units up to someone's city and attack all in one go? Imagine that. I have played MP games, and they're just a series of 1v1s. You kill the guy next to you and you get a bunch of free cities so you can go kill the next guy. You only need alliances if you're weak...

Yeah, with simplified thinking like that I know why you suck at it and don't like it. And it's also why it's obvious that you like duels. You have no concept of the dynamics required in a larger game. Your focus is myopic.
Go find a game that caters to duels.

The difference is I have numbers on my side. You can't talk to me unless you start playing on ladders and stuff. As long asyou continue to play the way you do and are as inexperienced as you are you can't argue this with me.

Which orifice are you speaking out of now Eyes? The number of MP players that play civ and duel are microscopic compared to the amount of people who play the series.

1 v 1 duels in Civ4 are broken because Firaxis does not care about them. There are problems in mass free for all to (for example the insane tech rate) but EyesOfNight was not talking about that. I wonder how long this thread will last before it's locked. Night was clearly using numbers to refer to his skill level.

You do know that saying something doesn't make it true? As I said before, go look up those people I mentioned earlier, they'll be more than willing to play you. Dueling is fine in the current system, it's just that Eyes doesn't understand how to play and can't adapt.

Actually the reverse is true also.

Your total existance is for the ladders and duels.
                      YOU"RE IN THE MINORITY.
I personally think that while you excel in your narrow little interpretation of what the game is, you suck at the game in general. So as long as you continue to play the way you do and are as inexperienced as you are, you can't argue this with me.

Let me handle this, Rah; because you are also incorrect.

                            • Yet he gets beaten by people and won't report? Glicko doesn't mean anything when the losses are hidden from the system.

                              • Dude, what the **** are you talking about? Where has there ever been a complaint of me not reporting a game? If you can't find a god damn post or something or something to back up your claims then shut up. You just ignore everything and keep repeating the same **** over and over again. It gets old really fast.
