I watched it some time ago and found it just as annoying and as full of the same type of BS as that Discovery Channel special about finding Jesus' remains.

I'm not an apologetic, and I don't plan to defend my position. However, anyone who has ever read Job would understand why bad things happen in the kingdom of god. Trials are sent by god, temptations by the devil. Each exist not only to judge the individual character of men, but of the overall character of man. Perhaps instead of bashing god over suffering we should be bashing ourselves, our leaders, our governments for the same suffering we would so easily pin on someone/thing we don't even believe exist.

Actually, that's one of the vid's points. The guy says that the answers to the questions "make sense" if one assumes God doesn't exist. As a result, we should try to solve earthly matters, and not hope for some divine intervention to save us, as it will never happen.

I think the real question people should answer is if Christianity killed PH's beloved pet.

I lasted less than two minutes and I spent most of the last minute thinking about a southpark episode and the treehuggers in San Francisco smelling their own farts.

Now that we've said we're sorry, I can only hope he is big enough to forgive us.

Let's get some things straight from the start.
I don't think God cares if his 6 days = what we record as 6 days.
People talk here about God's intervention. I want you to think about this for a second.
Forget that God gave us minds, all persuaded to different brilliance, be it medical, mathematical, car hoppingacal, whatever.
Just time. It doesn't matter if you're a believer or not, the one you can't argue or fully comprehend is time, and eternity.
A person's life, lets say it's 75 years, and growing.
WTF is 75 years compared to eternity? If God wanted to slow His world down to a crawl to keep up with our paltry 75 years...slow down eternity? Are you ****ing insane? And besides that, who do you think you are, that you have to be baby-sitted after all you've been given? Seriously. You could have been a wildebeest trying to cross a crocodile-infested river. Give me a break.

BUT, that's only how I see it. You think what you want. God gave you senses and a mind.
Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.
"Hating America is something best left to Mobius. He is an expert Yank hater.

Slowwhand has a point... what is our measly lives compared to an eternity. People believe so strongly in religion... that it LITERALLY gives meaning and purpose to their lives. When i think of eternity, id rather spend it in heaven than hell... so i might as well be prapared for it. if im wrong who cares?!? ill die and be gone and that will be it... but if im RIGHT... and there IS a God and a heaven... then all my practice, my sacrifice, and my devotion will pay off. i hold a LOT of stuff back. i used to be bad... REAL bad. but i changed. i saw the light if you will. and because i saw the light, i now have a meaning and a purpose in MY life. when i do a quick prayer to God to get me through something, and I DO get through it... it may not seem like a big deal, but it is to me. Ive been in bad times, and i prayed to God to give me deliverance and He did. I have been saved from my unholy and pagan practices that i did for far too long in my life. but God still looked out for me. I feel He always will. It is sad a lot of children in some poorer countries dont even have the CHOICE to pray and worship to God and dont have the chance to make it if you will. but they DO have a chance. God may not be handing them food from heaven, but their SOULS might be being cared for. Just like Slowwhand said, what is a measly 75 years compared to an eternity? NOTHING thats what. and the fact that God accepted me AFTER all my sinning is a testiment to what a truly glorious God he actually is... the humble man SHALL be made exalted... and the exalted man SHALL be made humble... PIECE!

My opinion, although I managed to watch the whole.

The video has not been made by a very intelligent person...

I can come with 10 better questions that question my faith. Ok, I admit, after the first 3 question I got that bored that I stopped the video.
You've actually seen the better ones. Q.1 had at least a funny twist; the questions about God's brutality in the OT and the theodizee problem are at least standard repertoire of questioning faith. But beside that, the video is stupid self-righteous BS of someone who believes he's much more intelligent than he really is.
