If I'm crawling along on the Beltway during rush hour traffic, being honked at because the person in front of me hit their brakes too quickly, am I suddenly going to turn pro-life because I see a bumper sticker that says, "Some choices are wrong!" Or pro-choice upon witnessing, "Keep your laws off my body!"

Being a self-righteous, hypocritical follower is easier than you think. Think of how difficult it is to follow a perfect being while still being a stinky human with low appetites. Suppose while following a walking God you stumble across a hot momma during a weak, human moment. Two minutes after doing the wrong thing you're back on the path and trying to figure out how not to fall next time when some schmo comes along and asks if sex out of wedlock is wrong. Well it is according to the teaching of the perfect guy so you say so.
