    Yeah, he was terrific in M&C. That last scene when he stitched up his friend in the tarp was quite sad.


    I've gotten the LL hooked on Rome. She's going through the first season on DVD currently; and despite just finishing the episode where Pullo beats Eirene's love to death, she is still madly in love with him. Considering my own man-crush has at least doubled thus far in season two, I can't imagine what she'll be like when she gets to the Tivo.

                I missed last week's episode, but caught this one (with the flashbacks to tell me what I missed).

                I too am not terribly fond of "new Octavian." He seems less politically shrewd than the old Octavian, despite being older. But he's got scary eyes. Yay.

                I find myself rooting for Antony. I know he loses in the end. Bah. He's my favorite character.

                      Yeah, new Octavian must have gotten hit in the head a few times or something . Old Octavian planned everything out right, but the new version can't even see that Cicero would call Brutus and Cassius when Octavian started rattling the saber.
