How Much Money Do you Carry Around?

Come to think of it, there's probably a good reason why written paper cheques have dissapeared from use. Is it only convenience?

I remember my parents using cheques, but I have never used them myself.

IIRC, you got cheques from the bank free of charge, while there is an annual membership fee for all credit cards. Could that be it?

Well if you start your nights at a reasonable time, say 17:15pm when the evening football game is, you'll need one or maybe two meals, plus 10drinks say at £1.80 each. But you got to watch you don't end up blubbering like a bay if you get too drunk.

On average I have $100 in my wallet, but that's all the cash I have. I leave the rest in my checking account and withdraw when I need more.

I like using cash, as I find something Orwellian about leaving an electronic trail of my consumption and spending habits.

I detest store cards as well, even if they do bribe you to reveal your purchasing habits..

and the fact that bad checks are a serious problem in the U.S. They still are. Now days people use bad payroll checks.

The truth is I wouldn't know where to put cash money if not in my wallet so I can't change depending on where I go.

Unless I go out on the piss, then it will be just the odd 10 or 20 note in my pocket with no wallet around.
