    I just did a search on BCS Bowl projections, and it has some surprising opinions here.

    Not the least of which is a Rose Bowl Michigan vs. LSU possibility, although there are others mentioned.

      In other news, OSU is ranked #1 in football, and #1 in basketball (at least in the coaches poll). Does anyone know when the last time that happened was? I don't...

      Of course, OSU plays my Tar Heels this Wednesday (at 9pm on ESPN!), so their lofty ranking will be short-lived!

        Did anyone see where 2 friends were watching South Carolina - Clemson, and had a 20 dollar bet?
        Drinking all day, they got into an argument over the bet.
        One friend went to his vehicle and came back with a rifle.
        Shot his buddy dead.
        Not kids. Early 40's. 43 or so.

                Notre Dame looks BCS-bound and should be able to compete against anybody. Nobody wants a rematch with with Michigan, so as I understand it, they will put Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl.


                The Rose may love that money... I'm sure they'll work out some deal to prevent it, but the Rose will have to get some concessions, I think (like a "we're owed one").

                  NC State just fired its coach, as did Alabama. With Miami firing Coker, this ought to be the most eventful offseason in a long time. It's looking smarter and smarter that UNC fired its coach early and snagged Butch Davis!

                          I haven't really followed 'Bama football. I'm curious why you think it was a stupid move.

                            Bama badly needs continuity at the head coaching position; they had four different head coaches in a three-year period before Shula. Shula is a good coach (he led Bama to a 10-2 season last year) who was still having to deal with the aftermath of the NCAA sanctions against Bama. Firing him now is a mistake caused by impatience and unrealistic expectations...
